Paul I friken love this video, I had forgotten about it till after your chat with us a few weeks ago. I downloaded it immediately and I listen and watch it now once a week. I still get goose bumps every time I see it.

There are actually 2 versions of the script, the one you have posted is great. The other one as a couple of lines which slay me …

How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?

Paul thanks for the post and thanks for all that you do.

    Cam

PS – Looking forwards to next week

Well that helps explain why my world keeps changing. I’m just not yet crazy enough to change the larger world around me. I’ll look inside to find the adjustment and crank it up,

Thanks for the video Paul. Yes, I like being a rebel – for what I believe in – and it’s not the status quo or conventional wisdom. It’s about living my truth.

    Thanks Paul,

    Loved it!

I’ve been dancing like Isadora Duncan since I was a kid – I just about fell off my chair when I saw her in that clip. We also share the same Mayan Birthday……Ester Williams has also always been a favorite!

I attended a forum last night hosted by the Seattle chapter of the International Interior Design Association – and there was a cumulative feeling that our long pusuit to educate and influence our clients towards responsible and sustainable building practices is finally starting to make some headway.

When it was buy cheap and flip it – it was hard to convince them to spend more up front. Now that they have to look towards long term – they are finally starting to “get it”!

It has been a ground up movement here commercially for some time, and I really believe we are on the edge of this long awaited shift.

Did you know that over 73% of ALL energy and waste in the US is caused by commercial buildings (offices, hospitals, hotels etc) and interiors. Once this segment shifts – you’ll see some significantly measurable improvements in the economy as well. Cars and individuals can only make a dent in comparison.

check out http://www.mithun.com – a local firm that has also done a lot of “verticle farm” design concepts as well. Really Cool stuff.

Furniture manufactures are also getting creative. One manufacture is actually delivering used goods to Prisons. The inmates break down the product into reusable parts and sell it back to the manufacture. The inmates make extra income form the Big House, the manufacture lowers costs and can offer cradle to cradle products, and the client earns credits for furnishing their projects with cradle to cradle goods! TaDa!

I bet someone reading this post right now is already coming up with great ideas of their own. The whole chain of getting post consumer waste back into the “manufacturing” stream has endless business opportunities. It also keeps our “natural” streams cleaner!

I’m really feeling I am in the right town, in the right business and at the right time just now – and being a part of this change is a part of my purpose. This can be FUN!

    Cheers from the Emerald City!

Most inspiring for me this morning as I accept my ‘new era of prosperity’, and am literally seeing it unfold! Thanks Paul for all the lessons on the ‘direct connect’ with spirit.

    Dear Paul,

Once again Dreams Alive has served as a source of inspiration to me. I always look forward to emails from your site and over the years have saved many of your links to my favorites section on my on line server.
The same creative spirit that allows me my artful and literary creation is often the source of criticism from people who refuse to
embrace their own gifts. Including being refered to at times with a derogatory tone and words to match for choosing to follow my heart and my dreams. That has never caused me to miss to alter my core beliefs, and for people with open minds and hearts I know my own enthusiam has helped change lifes for the better. I cherish having the chance to assist anyone willing to learn and grow.
The day I drew the “Mustangs” I had a feeling of being the “Wild” one in our little tribe here. A sort of isolation from the group, a feeling of being one step aside from the family around me, and being in my own sort of realm. Going with that energy instead of denying it, and putting it to good use allowed me to make one of my favorite pieces ever, you can see it below. I truly enjoyed the YOUTUBE link you sent. It served to remind me that the “Crazy” ones get to live outside the box and color outside the lines. Have a great day !
    Blessed
    be………… Angela M. Brett

Hi Paul ! You are like a close friend and adviser … I hope I will always listen. That video reminded me great minds like Nicolaus Copernicus, who worked hard for an idea that he believs could change the whole world, even if contradicts the Holy Scripture. He wasn’t able to see the Revolution he started. But such effort was possible becouse he was himself and nothing could touch his dreams. People can make dreams possible and can dream at impossible.

    Hi Paul,

I think I will play this video everyday for inspiration, motivation and courage.

I grew up with the message that it you do the right thing, if you try your best and adhere to your principles, good thing will happen, you will achieve your goals and the respect of others.

What bullshit! Especially when the message is focused on external circumstances.

I discovered that I thought differently, had different priorities, and that most people believed success was more important than integrity, especially when one’s integrity caused their family embarrassment, discomfort or judgment.

I have spent my life trying to accommodate my family, or at least not inconvenience them and my principles. I thought I was doing something wrong, or that I was inadequate because when I was true to my principles and priorities, I often experienced negative consequences.

However, I look at other’s who have lived with integrity, and they to were judge, maligned and at times persecuted. I understood it intellectually, but emotionally, I still experienced guilt and self doubt.

I have been so focused on avoiding upsetting my family, wondering if the obstacle to social success and respect indicated some weakness that I was overlooking in myself, that I have lost touch with my true passions and direction.

This video validates my inner beliefs and self trust. Perhaps listening to it will help to silence the false voices that have influenced me since I was very young.

    Sincerely,

    Lauren Kennedy
